Prior to commencing the repair, ensure the iPhone's battery level falls below 25% to mitigate fire or explosion hazards associated with potential puncture of the lithium-ion cell.To prevent electrical hazards and ensure safe operation, completely de-energize the iPhone by powering it down before any disassembly procedures are initiated.
  • Begin the repair process by eliminating the two screws, each measuring 6.8 mm in length, which secure the lower edge of the iPhone’s casing.
  • Be aware that separating the iPhone's display assembly will irreversibly damage the device's water resistance capabilities.
To maintain the iPhone's original water resistance, either procure and install replacement sealing components before proceeding beyond display separation, or exercise extreme caution to prevent liquid ingress during reassembly if seals are not replaced.
